There are numerous benefits to building muscle that are truly invaluable. Regardless if you are postpartum, pregnancy, or in the menopausal stage, I highly emphasize the significance of strength training with core emphasis. When we have well-developed muscles, they provide crucial support to our joints. Additionally, the more muscle mass your body possesses, the more calories it is capable of burning, leading to a reduction in overall body fat. Building muscle is a key component of all the programs I offer, as it promotes overall health and well-being.
DEEP CORE TRAINING
Incorporating the diaphragm, TVA and pelvic floor
Strengthening the deep core muscles and pelvic floor is crucial for multiple reasons. Firstly, it helps to maintain a strong body overall, as these muscles play a key role in providing stability and support to our spine and internal organs. They also contribute to proper posture and alignment, reducing the risk of injury and promoting overall strength and balance.
For pregnant individuals, strengthening the deep core muscles and pelvic floor is particularly important. These muscles support the growing uterus, help maintain proper alignment of the spine, and can assist in the delivery process. A strong core and pelvic floor can also help reduce back pain and discomfort during pregnancy.
In the postpartum period, focusing on the deep core muscles and pelvic floor becomes essential for a quick recovery. Strengthening these muscles can aid in the healing of abdominal separation (diastasis recti) that commonly occurs during pregnancy. It can also help restore strength, stability, and function to the pelvic floor, which can be weakened from childbirth.

A BIT ABOUT ME
I'm a full time mom of two young boys. They are my motivation and inspiration every single day.
I'm also a Certified Personal Trainer, and a Pre & Postnatal Fitness Specialist.
My passion for fitness and coaching began when I was pregnant in 2014. Our first baby wasn't planned. I was so nervous, so scared that my body was going to be forever ruined, that I'd never feel sexy again. After that settled in, I decided to take hold of the situation as best I could. I began educating myself on prenatal fitness. I had a very easy pregnancy, delivery & I bounced back quicker than I could ever imagine.
After my first was born I got my certifications and begin my coaching journey. I wanted to educate others.
Since then I've helped both women of all fitness levels reach their specific goals. I've also gone on to specialize in postpartum core rehabilitation so I can help new moms gain a new appreciation for their amazing bodies. My mission from the beginning has always remained simple. Educate your clients, motivate them and inspire them. Nothing brings me more satisfaction than knowing I helped someone get to their goals.

I had always worked out with getting very little results. I met Jenna 3 years ago and, after seeing her AMAZING body, she inspired me as a mom to try some different workouts and get results. Even though we weren’t able to workout together everyday, the workouts that Jenna had put together were geared towards all of my goals. I had always done lots of cardio and had not dappled much in weights. Jenna had introduced me slowly to the weights, I now have strength in my arms, legs, and abs. Jenna is a great trainer and she will push you when you want to give up or if you don’t think you can do it.
